UGH, Minako and Artemis. Their relationship is just so incredible and special.

That little speech, Anon, THAT LITTLE SPEECH. I mean the pride that POURING off of him.

And you know it wasn’t easy. You KNOW Minako gave him shit and she’s a giant headstrong pain who doesn’t want to listen.

But they’re a TEAM, they are partners, and who Minako is today — this smart, quick, independent, loving, beautiful person — Artemis had a hand in that. Maybe just a tiny hand, maybe just in guiding her to the person she could always be. But that’s Minako, that’s HIS Minako, and he just can’t keep it in. EVERYBODY needs to see her, friend and foe alike.

That is Artemis’ little girl, and he could not be prouder of her.

I love their relationship so much. I know a lot of people see their relationship as romantic but I honestly see Artemis as kind of a father/older brother figure towards her. He wants to protect her and guide her and is extremely proud watching her growing and developing into a beautiful, capable young woman.

Meanwhile Artemis romanticizing the hell out of this and demonstrating without question that he falls to pieces at Hallmark commercials.

Minako tried showing him something really sad once. Like, she had him watch Beaches. Just to see what would happen. He was inconsolable for WEEKS.

She tries to monitor what he watches, but occasionally she forgets. She once left out her Futurama DVDs and came home while Artemis was finishing up “Jurassic Bark” and … it was just a really bad time for a while.

Whenever Futurama makes me cry I get kinda angry
