Happy birthday to both Usagi and Chibiusa! The Queen and Princess of the Earth.
You know, every year I always notice a divergence, a split between fans. Some say celebrate both birthdays, while others only celebrate one of them. How could you do that when they are a package deal? xD
I love them both so much, even when Chibiusa barges into one of the best kisses of the fandom. Despite their differences, they both possess such a strong will to be better than what they are, even though they always had whatever they were looking for.
To me, Usagi and Chibiusa have gone through SO MUCH scrutiny for being stupid, annoying or disconnected, yet they still remain two of the most popular characters in anime history. To me, I honesty don’t care their flaws because it makes them better people with human qualities. To me, I would never want Chibiusa to disappear because of Mamoru or because people tend to dislike her. I would never want Usagi to lose her will to love and her playfulness at the expense of trying to be a different type of person.
These are major parts of life even for us, even for humans, to go through. Characters are made to emulate humans, and that is why we each have characters we relate to. However, when Naoko Takeuchi formulated these two lovely rabbits, she knew EXACTLY what she was doing. She wanted to make a unique pair despite their genealogy. Two people so connected that they bicker and fight to hide their love for each other.
So I say thank you Naoko, thank you, for making these beautiful young women that go through the trials of their lives. I connected so deeply with them at the young age of seven. I was often criticized for being dense, or too creative or too playful. I always felt ignored as if no one even cared about me. These are two situations I witnessed when I would watch Usagi and Chibiusa. I owe them my happiness when I was down, and the lessons they taught me to be a strong, noble person.
Happy Birthday to the best Rabbits that could possibly live, for being there for me when I needed you most. <3

Hi there, guys!
I just wanted to let you all know that I now have a Redbubble account! My friend suggested to me, since this summer has gotten me no where with my Job search.

I’ve always thought Mercury’s transformation was so beautiful! I love the way the water glitters and wraps around her like ribbons. I also love the ripple effect!

Usagi: You’re wrong! Mamo isn’t like that! You don’t know anything about him! What are you, a complete idiot?! NEVER MIND ABOUT THE MAKEUP.
Just to let the person know, whoever made the argument that Usagi isn’t smart, or is too stupid to date Mamoru, I think your opinion is kind of flawed right here.
Usagi may not get awesome grades, but she is incredibly smart when it comes to sticking to her morals. Loads of girls, and even women, take the advice of peers that know nothing about their lives, and then they end up feeling worse than they felt before. Usagi is fantastic at not letting anyone rule over her own opinions about her OWN LIFE.

YOU GO GURL!! I hate people who try and shove their opinions and lifestyles down other’s throats. And Usagi don’t take shit from NO ONE. She stands up for her man (who the saleslady is insinuating is a vapid pig who will only love Usagi for her looks) and firmly refuses to change herself OR her opinions.

My headcanon is that magic/the Ginzuishou keeps her thin. Before she awakened it was subconscious, but now she abuses the hell out of it.

Holy CRAP, it’s so good!! You’ve really been improving! I love the color choices!
It’s sad. We’re one of the lucky fandoms that has more than just a dubbed series, and no one cares! Everyone wants the dub to come back, but there are so many other great forms of Sailor Moon that no one seems to care about. I guess this all kinda stemmed from me wanting to do a Sera Myu cosplay, but I feel like hardly anyone would “get it.” (I know people who have cosplayed Myu and PGSM, and they were told they were “inaccurate.” LOL) This isn’t a dub hate rant, and no hate to anyone that prefers it.
Before you go crusading for the dub to come back, maybe you should watch the subbed version, PGSM, Sera Myu and read the manga. It’s probably my biggest pet peeve about this fandom.

I really respect people’s childhood nostalgia, and I understand WHY they want it to come back, but I just think it’s a bad idea. The dub dumbed down the series and I feel like it did a poor job representing the series as a whole (the Haruka/Michiru cousin fiasco, turning male characters female, using that godawful slang, making the characters say things that are EXTREMELY out of character, etc) I just feel like it could be SO MUCH BETTER, and people are so hung up on their nostalgia they can’t acknowledge that the dub has faults and doesn’t do a very good job at, well, DUBBING.
