These are the pictures of all the runes that have appeared with a witch (spelling out her name) in Madoka Magica. Most, but not all, witches had their names spelt out in runes as well as other runes spelling out miscellaneous things throughout their barriers.

Mami Tomoe vs. Gertrud

Madoka: “I’m scared… but…”
Kyubey: “Keep going! We’ll be at the core of the barrier soon!”
*The runes spell out the name “Gertrud.”*
Mami: “Look. That’s a witch.”
Sayaka: “It looks gruesome.”
Madoka: “Are you going to fight that?”
Mami: “It’s okay. I won’t lose. Keep back!”
Sayaka: “Mami-san!”
Mami: “Don’t worry. I can’t let my future mentees see me when I’m down!”
Mami: “Close, but not good enough.”
Mami: “Tiro Finale!” *means “Final Shot” in Italian*
