Okay so Mamoru’s been out of town for a good couple of days now, and it seems like Reika pretty much just got here too, yet Mamoru knows the whole scoop, including what’s up with Motoki.

You know what this means right?

This means that when Mamoru couldn’t get through to Usagi on the phone, when she was chatting to her friends? MAMORU WAS ON THE PHONE TO MOTOKI.

Mamoru: The hotel’s pretty great. They sent me up the flowers I wanted, and didn’t charge or anything, which I thought was nice.

Motoki: Mm, that’s cool.

Mamoru: Okay, what’s up, you sound down.

Motoki: Well … Reika’s back.

Mamoru: SHUT UP, when??

Motoki: Yesterday.

Mamoru: And you didn’t tell me?

Motoki: Well you were traveling, and then the whole Usagi thing

Mamoru: But that’s good, right? It’s good she’s back.

Motoki: It’s … complicated.

Mamoru: Why is it— Oh, wait, there’s my alarm. Lemme try Usako again. I’ll call you back.

*two minutes later*

Mamoru: UGH, still busy, can you believe her?

Motoki: Your girl, man. I dunno.

Mamoru: Seriously. ANYWAY, so Reika, huh? SPILL.

AND SO ON.

Motoki was Mamoru’s best man at his wedding to Usagi and nobody can ever convince me otherwise.

I’m glad to see Mamoru’s taste in fashion has remained consistent throughout literally every incarnation of the series.

notice how his bowl is ugly. Usagi took a pottery class for fun and made some bowls. She gave mamo-chan the ugliest one.

i wish i could find my tablet software/photoshop. i hate MS paint. though, not bad for a mouse drawing. i still prefer pencil and paper. I HOPE THIS Is EMOTIONAL ENOUGH FOR YOU!
