(PLEASE don’t get offended by this, this is just my personal opinion)

But a pet peeve of mine is when people aren’t very creative with their otaku (original character) senshi’s fuku.

I feel like people are afraid to stray from the fuku formula of the Sol System senshi, but we’ve been shown in the series that outside of our Solar System the fuku variants are VERY different; the only universal thing about the fuku is the sailor collar, the namesake of the Sailor senshi.

Look at the Starlights!

Or Sailor Galaxia

Or Sailors Lethe and Mnemosyne

See how radically different they are from the Sol System senshi?

It just makes me sad to see people limiting themselves so much, I guess. The possibilities with Otaku Senshi are literally LIMITLESS. You don’t even need to name/fashion them out of a preexisting planet. Naoko sure didn’t. Ever heard of Mau? Or Kinmoku? Or Coronis?

Okay, seriously, Takeuchi’s got this Solar System canonically covered. The only room for fan senshi is for other Solar Systems now.

But I guess Sailor Glize581d isn’t kawaii enough :c

I’m going to offend some people by saying this, but here’s my opinion.

Look, it doesn’t bug me that people are kinda disregarding canon with the whole Earth thing, what bugs me is the lack of originality. I feel like people stick to Sun and Earth OCs, and even OCs that are still in the solar system. In the Milky Way Galaxy alone there are roughly 200 billion stars with COUNTLESS, and I do mean COUNTLESS, planets orbiting those stars. You don’t even need to go with a scientifically named star or extrasolar planet (Naoko sure didn’t; Kinmoku, Mau, Coronis, etc); just pick a name and go with it. 

The possibilities are truly endless.
