• Venus Power Make-Up is shown for the first time.
• The animation sequence and music for Moon Healing Escalation were both changed.
• Kunzite’s main mission from this point onward was to find Sailor Moon and the Silver Crystal. Mamoru actually knew her true identity, but Queen Metalia’s magic wiped his memory clean.
• The phone number for Kariko Tokoyama’s hair salon was 03-05X5-2X13. Although the number is fake (two digits are replaced with an “X”), “03” is a Tokyo area code. The Sailor Senshi reside in Azabu-Juuban, an area within Minato in Tokyo.
• The monster-of-the-day was youma Mitsuami. Her name means “braid”.
• Queen Beryl glossed over Kunzite’s failure.
